Subspace Radio

Hey folks!  We here at Subspace Radio are always looking for ways to provide you cool shows and content, and we’ve got some stuff in the pipeline that you should keep an eye out for.

  • Subspace Radio on Twitch - As some of you know, we’ve had a Twitch stream (http://twitch.tv/subspaceradio) for a while, we just didn’t use it that much.  And as others of you have noticed, we’re starting to use it more these days.  Subspace Radio is starting to increase our presence on Twitch.  Expect to see in-game parties, DJs gaming while on-air, DJs gaming while off-air, and maybe even a few dedicated VJs start showing up on the Twitch stream more often (if you’re interested in becoming a VJ, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).  We’ll be making any gaming Twitch streams we do available on Youtube soon, so you can see all the action, hilarity, and hilarious failures that happen when we game.

  • Original Content - You might have picked up on this one with DJ Berryshine’s two “How Is This My Life” posts (Panzermadels and Huniepop) and DJ Kalabakk’s “Making A Commercial” article.  DJ Concentus is also bringing back his old concept of a monthly tabletop gaming column with the Tabletop Report.  Subspace Radio is branching out a bit and going to start posting more of these review and original content articles.  Keep an eye on the website, Facebook, and Twitter to be informed about when a new article goes up!  Got a column you’d like to write?  Contact Operations in IRC or via email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

  • Subspace Radio on Periscope - We’re beginning to dabble into the world of non-gaming livestreams as well, with our newly-created Periscope account (http://periscope.tv/subspaceradio).  Given that you can only stream to Periscope from mobile devices this’ll be more for things like unboxing videos, stuff from DJs when they’re on the road, or maybe even videos of DJs doing their DJing.  Keep an eye on the Twitter account since it’ll announce when a stream starts.  If you miss the stream, don’t worry - we’ll be uploading them to Youtube so you can watch them when you want to!

  • Old SSR Features, Returning! - Do you remember when we had interviews?  And prize giveaways?  And regularly-scheduled round-table discussions on shows?  Pepperidge Farm remembers, and so does Subspace Radio.  Expect to see these returning, some of them in new and expanded forms.

  • Subspace Radio Shirts (and gear) - Want a shirt that’s as official as an ‘official Subspace Radio shirt’ can be?  Then check out our new Cafepress store: http://www.cafepress.com/subspaceradioofficial.
